Default New Sponsor - Arizen Racing Sports - Custom Racing Seats!

We have just become a sponsor for the forum. We offer our racing seats in many types of materials - leather, vinyl, suede, cloth, etc. We have a variety of options on how the seat can be made so seats are made to order in about 3-4 weeks. We have recently done seats for late model Camaro owners in the o/e Ebony leather color and well as 69 Camaro seats in the o/e houndstooth pattern. These and other custom seats are shown on the link below.

We can also offer matching rear covers for many cars as well. We have a wide range of options as shown below.

As we determine what is most in demand from forum members we will see what specials can be offered. Let us know what your looking for!

Its Mark. I'll have to add a signature. Our new seat with the deeper back bolsters is narrower across the bolsters - 20 1/2" instead of 22". I believe if the inside reclining **** is removed they would fit in a Vette. Not sure about mounting though.

I never did figure this out. What is the affiliation between ya'll and mad racing concepts?

None. A couple of years ago we used to import a seat similar to them but we like the leather we buy in the states better. The overseas manufacturers also like to glue the leather to the foam backing and this makes the leather stiffer feeling. We decided to source components from different countries and complete the seats ourselves. This way now we can offer options we could not if the seat was already completed.

Not to try and be negative here but I am curious. I know that a lot of the higher end and more expensive seats (Recaro, Bride, Sparco, etc) all have a lot of R&D time and certification that they require their seats to pass and safety guidelines they put their seats through in order to sell them. Do you put your seats through similar tests and adhere to the same kinds of guidelines? With something as important as a seat, I'd hate to buy one that doesn't follow or adhere to the same guidelines as OEM seats or the higher end aftermarket ones do.

Aftermarket seats cannot undergo all the testing of oem applications. The reason for this is oem seats can be tested for impacts from any direction because they all install the same way from factory. You basically can test the seat and restraint system. In the aftermarket world the same seat can be installed in many cars and the installation is as important to the safety - if not more so - than the seat itself.

We had our frame manufacturer submit the frame to a "rear impact" test, which it passed. In a rear impact all the force is applied to the seat back and you should test to be sure the attachment system from back to bottom can withstand the strain. We did not submit to a "frontal" test because that tests the restraint system rather than the seat itself. In the oem world frontal impact tests are important too because part of the restraint system is often attached to the seat (such as the belt buckle).

Hope this helps some.

Welcome Mark. I must say that these seats are the answer to my issues with my 99SS. I can never get a good seating position.. ever, whether at autox, or driving to work. I am sending you a PM.

Very nice looks like you guys have a lot of options on the style. The 69 camaro style is cool I also like how you can make the spot for the factory seat belt loop. What about the brackets do you make some that fit a f-body well?
