Thumbs down Front license plate bracket

So after getting 2 tickets and my b@lls busted 3 other times i guess just leaving my front license plate in my front window aint going to fly any more. I hate the way front license plates look on 4th Gen Camaros so im trying to figure out what wont look like $hit. I know SLP makes a bracket im wondering if any one has it or has seen it on a camaro with or without the grill. Im thinking of getting both but not to sure. Please post up some pics of any ideas. Thanks

heres the SLP bracket

Front license plates being mandatory is BS. I'm in protest, too. Although I haven't been busted on it in over 10 years.

Its not a good idea to leave your plate on the dash. It will only draw attention to yourself.

Either leave it off completely or keep it on the front.

^^^ Agree above, cops can actually slap you with more tickets if they want for having the plate in the windshield, I got warned about that. Cop told me he'd rather me not have it at all than have it stuck in the windshield

Just an idea.... not sure how it would look... get a billet grill... cut out the gap for the plate... mount it flush with that cut out...?

yall think that's bad, think about us guys with intercoolers!!

we had to hake our front bumpers to allow more air flow, then having to put a plate on to restricte it again?!

I would look into your state's stautuate regarding placement and mounting of the license plate. Reason being is that it isn't uncommon for the police to not know the law about this themselves so they use personal application to make a decision; and when dealing with an enthusiast they have no problem harassing us feeling its their duty somehow. Most are simply bullies hiding behind a badge.

In Texas, the statute reads "must have two plates one facing forward and one facing rearward; placement and mounting are not defined". This is on their own website and written in the statute.

I had a state trooper who kept busting my ***** and the second time he pulled me I pulled out a copy of this and showed him that the front window was legal. He accused me of making this up! We went to court and he came out looking like an asshat even after he went and flat out lied. I refused to drill holes at all in a 10G paint job, and still wear a front plate on little suction cups on my front windshield to this day.....just to **** him off.

The reality is that the police are a secondary means of defense and enforcement (and usually suck at that), are fallable, and our justice system is an organized crime ring that is more interested in making money for their precinct/county than anything else.

Read the statute closely and see if there is any way to get around this. Just because some cop says its so isn't the final word.

Just my experience and opinion. Good luck!
