4l60e limp mode fix??

Default 4l60e limp mode fix??

Ok well after struggling with my swap its done,but my tranny is in limp mode, all the fuses appear good, what steps do I need to take to fix this?

First thing is hook a scanner up and see what codes are present.

looks to be a wiring or no power issue, Check that you have 12v on pin e in the connector to the trans

Should be the red wire. Look at the connector when you unplug it, it labels the pins.

assuming this is the problem can I just hook the wire up to a keyed hot wire?

As long as the circuit is capable of 10 additional amps and is fused (7.5 or 10A for the tranny).

Ok well it had power at the wire by the PCM to the connector but I didn't get to check the actual connector. Next step?

Check the terninal at the connector. the start checking chasis grounds and pcm ground wires

any wat to just bypass that crap all together? eliminate to limp mode that is?
