Default Why does stalled auto feel slow compared to 6spd?

Every stalled auto I have ridden in feels so slow compared to 6 speed cars, not trying to start a fight because I have a stalled auto. It's weird they don't give you any sensation of hard acceleration or speed. I know they're fast just no sensation of actual speed and acceleration.

if you dont actually launch a stalled auto, it will feel slow. That just tells me youve never brake stalled it. from your average redlight start, yes they feel kinda sluggish, but put one in its element on a hard start and youre good...

I cannot compare, I have not ridden in a fast 6 speed, however I like to compare a driving a stalled auto to driving a big turbo 4 cyl since it is all or nothing. Still mine feels slow since I'm spinning like a foo with my pants on the ground, I mean below 50

Yes I've brake stalled autos before.

I don't know maybe it's because the exhaust note doesn't change as much as the auto flashes and holds it's rpm?

I have a stalled T76 turbo car and it really gives a odd sensation when accelerating, just pulls nice and smooth.

3.73's will most likely go with a 3.23 in the future.

I have a stalled auto. Numerous buddies have M6 cars that are slower, even, and faster then mine. Even the slower M6 cars "feel" faster then mine does to me. They all respect the auto and dont go around looking to man up on it, bc they have ridden in it and know its not a punk bitch But seriously, we always talk about how the m6 cars impress even non-car people a lot more then rides in the auto. Me personally though, I love the feeling of the torque swelling up behind you when you are on the converter pretty good briskly accelerating. An M6 can't compete with that feeling. I love the fact that it will pull anytime, any rpm, any gear. Just hit the pedal and its gets moving, no hunting for the perfect gear/rpm to be at.

I went from M6 to A4 with the current setup I have.... made about the same rwhp with both (made more boost with AT) and IMO the auto is and feels WAY faster.

I really liked my M6, it was fun to play with but I LOVE the new AT with 4000+ stall and sticky tires.

So you know what I'm talking about? A 6spd 4.10 car feels fast, a 3.73 stalled auto feels OK.
