yea i'm using the aeroquip pushlock stuff on my fuel system and trans cooler. I'm using -6 stuff for the cooler, -10 and -8 for the fuel system. Works like a charm...

A friend of mine was using the socketless fittings and hose for fuel line and it worked like a champ.

i like the look of the black, but they're the same hose. The -8 stuff with the rubber end caps is XRP. If you want cheap fittings... get these from speedway motors, they're the -10 fittings you see with the red aluminum endcaps. I've had great luck with them, only one fitting was a little loose for my tastes and I put a clip on it (top picture).

I wouldnt, the heat coming out of the converter can exceed the rating of the hose (it becomes soft and can blow off)

Technically yes the fluid coming out of the converter can exceed 300 degrees, however I'm running a 5600 spragless converter that builds alot of heat and I have had zero issues with my fittings. I do inspect the hose every month or so, and I've seen no differences compared to my fuel hose. Sustained 300+ temperatures might be a problem, but intermittently I think it will be just fine. I would NOT use socketless stuff on a turbo 10.5 car... the pressures and temperatures there would probably cause problems.
