Problems with built 4l60e

Problems with built 4l60e I had my stage 2 4l60e built by a local transmission shop back in February of this year. It was built perfect in my eyes. All the bells and whistles you can have on these 4l60s. Problem is with losing gears within a few months. I do have a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. I know this transmission shop is getting aggravated.
I do race this car time to time but I do not let the transmission shop know this. Im sure they figured it since when I asked them about the rebuild I said I needed it to handle 600hp.
Within 2 weeks of the transmission getting rebuilt I lost 2nd gear again. They fixed it. Paid a shop to remove and reinstall.
March comes around and I kept getting a check engine light for a solenoid issue regarding 3rd gear. But I was told there was nothing wrong with it. I felt like it was starting to slip.
The car ate a lifter a few months ago and I finally got it running again. Problem is my tuner couldn't get 3rd gear to activate no matter what. Which he said tells him something is wrong with 3rd gear. Im going to get it fixed under warranty since I paid extra for it, but should I start looking into swapping in a 4l80? within 2 years im hoping to have twin turbos. Is there a lot of fab work to get the 4l80 to work?

What vehicle? A 4L80 is physically larger and might require floor sheet metal surgery. Perhaps a different PCM and likely a change to the drive shaft length. A different tune inside the PCM is almost certain to be required.

Ive heard a lot of bad things with these 4l60s but it was always will people making way more power than me. Im still in the mid 400hp range.

Mid 400 range...you'll be just fine with a 60 if the guy with his hands inside it knows what he's doing.
We can all sit here and guess all day, but if you have a warranty, then take it back and see what failed. Then let us know what failed.
