Problems with built 4l60e
I do race this car time to time but I do not let the transmission shop know this. Im sure they figured it since when I asked them about the rebuild I said I needed it to handle 600hp.
Within 2 weeks of the transmission getting rebuilt I lost 2nd gear again. They fixed it. Paid a shop to remove and reinstall.
March comes around and I kept getting a check engine light for a solenoid issue regarding 3rd gear. But I was told there was nothing wrong with it. I felt like it was starting to slip.
The car ate a lifter a few months ago and I finally got it running again. Problem is my tuner couldn't get 3rd gear to activate no matter what. Which he said tells him something is wrong with 3rd gear. Im going to get it fixed under warranty since I paid extra for it, but should I start looking into swapping in a 4l80? within 2 years im hoping to have twin turbos. Is there a lot of fab work to get the 4l80 to work?

Ive heard a lot of bad things with these 4l60s but it was always will people making way more power than me. Im still in the mid 400hp range.
