I would also like to point out that there was no o ring before the pump on the main shaft. (EDIT: I believe the shaft I have doesnt have an o ring where I thought there would be one before its pre 98)

That is the only o-ring on the input shaft.
Did you find an o-ring under the pump slide?

In 1st gear the forward clutch pack is applied and the low roller clutch is holding.
In reverse the reverse input clutches and low/reverse clutches are applied.
I have a PDF printed of all the parts and fluid flows per gear. Does the pressure tap come directly from the pump or does it go through valve body before reaching the tap/gauge?
I am going to be making a tool at work for spring cages to check clutch pistons as well.
I know I'm asking a lot of questions, just trying to understand everything. I am a knowledge seeker and love learning new things.
