Please sign on if you would get a ratchet shifter designed to fit the console of your '98 and above F-Body. Perhaps we can get B&M or Hurst's attention on this important money-making opportunity!

Thanks!

B&M currently offers a gate plate (81070) for use with the OEM shifter assembly. This is available through sponsors of LS1Tech. We (B&M) are actively looking into producing a replacement shifter for the 4th gen F-Body. I am not promissing it will be released very soon, but we are exploring some avenues to possibly make a ratchet shifter that fits inside the OE center console. Thanks for your support!

What is a gate plate and what would it do for a stock shifter? I've looked into a number of the sponsors to the right and couldn't find it.

Too bad one for the F-body probably wouldn't work on a C5. So I just made the **** fit.

It would be nice to have a bolt on one though but the console top ould be the problem.

Previous owner molded the upper console with bondo on the a4 console in the car I have now, turned out pretty nice also.. Its a B&M pro ratchet.
Thats badass I know what shifter I'm getting now thanks KP!
