Wow, old post, that was 2 cars ago I had the hammer. That car is long gone The M6 top has the ashtray in the rear and it opened fine, thats where my line lock switch was so I know it opened.

Here is some pics of a B&M pro stick I put in my present car, it was an auto car originally, the ashtray will open but its all trimmed out underneath. Just thought I would throw some pics of this one in this thread also

Please sign on if you would get a ratchet shifter designed to fit the console of your '98 and above F-Body. Perhaps we can get B&M or Hurst's attention on this important money-making opportunity!

Thanks!
I have one of these in my 02'T/A!!

Question for you guys ...

What **** do you guys like (either T-Handle, Round, OEM style)? Also, do you guys prefer the pull handle or push button or a level like our Pro series? Would you guys like to not need to cut the OE console top, or you don't care and would use a replacement top piece supplied?

I have no preference. Just make one and I'll buy it!

i like the T handle with the pull handle. cuttin the center is not a big issue as long as there is some solution to make it still look clean, a boot or something

T Handle w/ pull handle. I'd like to do as little cutting as possible. Clean looking with a nice black leather boot.

I prefer a round, then second would be T. Either pull handle or lever, no push button. Prefer not to cut the console.

T - handle or pistol grip with a button. Long as the finished product looks nice, I don't care if I have to cut or not. Bring back the Hurst Lightning Rods!!!

I want a T handle for sure! One with optional button and brushed or posished aluminum would rock!. I want it to fit inside factory console or would be ok with only minor modifications so it would appear to be instact console from the visible parts. Oh and it would be super kick if they can line up the factory Gear indicators so we can positively tell what gear were in. I'd by one right this second if they made one!

Just wondering if there is any way to use to use the factory cable with the Megashifter? I've got a Megashifter in my 70 C10 that I can use, just trying to make the install as easy as possible.

Once I go A3, I would be all over that, but it would have to fit the M6 console. I like those better.

Id rather not cut but would if had to choose between getting this shifter or not having it. Long as it looks clean, have a kinda OEM feel/look to it that would be cool.

A ratchet style with the pro series handle, to fit a M6 console top. Or one supplied with the shifter to replace the factory top.
