Talking TC Guys post 'em if you got 'em...

I am wanting to see some results, and rather than read the thousands of posts; I want to see: What TC, stall speed, STR, mods and track times if you got 'em?

Feel free to post your info if you want, but if you don't want to then don't.

Stock was 2.1 60'

Yank 3000 1.7 (NA) / 1.49 (N20)

Fuddle 3800 1.6 (NA) / no nitrous

Fuddle 4000 1.6 (NA) / no nitrous runs

Now going to a Rossler TH350 and ATI 4000, will let you know how it works out.

i think the low trap is related to tqm. i only had 3 passes after my converter and 1.7 was the best 60' i could muster. i think with more time and tweaking i can run mid 1.6

Yank ST3500 2.5 str. 3.73 gear and MT drag radials.
Best time so far is 1.630 60ft, 7.509 @ 90.70 1/8th, and 11.834 @ 113.63 1/4

Before the stall was put in my best 1/4 time was a 12.7 @ 110mp with a 2.0 60ft. Huge difference.

On stock Torque converter, stock tires, lid, ssra & dynomouth I went 13.4 @ 105 on a 2.1 60'

After TCI SSF3500/2.5 str , Nitto 555R drag radials, Pacesetter LT headers with ORY, ported TB and a tune I went 12.8 @ 109 on a high 1.9 60' (spinning all the way through 1st gear). I only got 3 runs in and I blew the launch on all three. That run was just the best of the bad

My setup is definately good for a 12.4 and hopefully I'll be there come April when the tracks reopen.

I have 2 words for you...sticky tires. Do you have any suspension mods? Those might help as well.

OK that is more than 2 words but with that STR you need an ET street or MT slicks or wide and I mean wide DR's. Just my .02, I think you are right there are some much faster times in that beast...1.6 60' will get you 12.2x probably.

Yeah I know. I was hoping to pick up a cheap pair of rims over the winter and throw some ET streets on them. Then I can use the Nittos for street duty and run slicks at the track.

That would be fun

Best 60ft with stock converter was a 1.95. Best with vig3200 was a 1.66 on 17" et street radials and 3.23 rear gear.

mods in sig, best ET ever was a 12.02 with the 1.66 60ft time. Full weight car (3675 raceweight) with mods exactly as listed in sig.

You gotta love those TC...I can't wait to get mine. I will run with current mods and then after the TC probably a 3400-3500/STR2.1. I hope the track opens before I get deployed again.

look at sig- 2.5 str. the car does consistent 1.67-1.68 60ft times and runs consistent 12.17-12.20 @ 111mph. the nitto's worked great 80% of the time but i have mickey thompson dr's now and they work the same, just less burnout required/ they dead hook 95% of the time.
