You're no fun.
Some difference to be found in the converter slip, it
will tighten up more at the top end of the RPM range.
And no lockup on the TH350, though there is a TH350C
(but whether it's suitable for performance uses I couldn't
say)

HOw many ponies you have have a lot to do with it. My car with 3.23s does 135 in 3rd. Don't forget the turbo350 has a higher(numerically) first and second gear, I'd say you could still do about 130. with My old chevelle with a .40 over 350, 3.55s and a turbo350 I got clocked at 138mph. so its not out of the question.
Anything over the speed you hit at the dragstrip is useless anyways....

Not always about big power to need a th350. Some people (myself included) like to know the tranny won't take a dump anytime soon. Now if he was wanting a th400/PG then I would probably ask the same thing you did

I am running a Rossler TH400 Terminator 2 with a JW ultrabell, T brake, RMVB and its behind a stock internal LT1 with 160k and bolt ons. I have the manifold plumbed for a Direct Port and forged 383 plans so I am building for the future.
Knowing that at this moment that there is nothing my engine can do to hurt this tranny is comforting though.
