Yank SS3600....WOW
WOW...just got the c onverter installed today by my work...all I can say is I love my car so much more right now.
The car under 30mph ( first gear) feels just ridiculously faster when WOT. The car wants the burn the 555R's off at a 5mph roll. I LOVE this converter..
I rode in my buddies trans am with a tci 3800 and HATED it, it felt loos,e took about 2600rpms to get it going, just didnt like the feeling at all.My Yank drives so close to stock its amazing...when on the throttle you can obviously tell it has a stall but Im already used to it. I cant say enough good things about this converter and this company. I drive my car to and frm work 30 miles a day and was seriously worried about stalling it, not anymore. The converter is PERFECT and every time I sit in my car im eager to drive it.
The shifts did soften up a bit but its kind of nice, feels alot more smooth through the shifts.
I dont know why but at idle it quited down the noise in the cabin alot?
The car feels like a whole new beast with the converter in it, all I can do is reccomend it to ANYONE who is new to stalls and wants something that is streetable. All the older guys at my work said a 3600 will be too big...my *** this thing drives mint!

( PS, locks up at right around 39mph, which is perfect for commuting as most big roads around here are 40+ mph.

I wonder if they have one for my 94 LT1
I used to have a 2800 spec-rite 9-1/2" w/12" lock up but it felt so loose you had to get it about 3000 rpms just to move it.
it felt like your in mud....but it used to hall XSS alot faster but my gas mileage went down to around 10 mpg..yuk
I only had it in for a week and took it out
I now have a hughes very good for DD but I know its holding my 1/8 mile time down

sometimes a stall will lower your idle a lil thats y its quieter..have you got a tune for the stall yet? if not just wait untill you get a tune..WOW.. yeah i loved my stall when i installed it but now i have the exact same one as you siting in my room waiting to be installed..

You don't have to tune anything. Mine runs fine, but a little bump to idle speed would be nice because the small diameter and light weight of the converter makes the computer work harder to find an idle sometimes.

Just got back from driving around tonight. I love my car so much again. Every time I get in I have a smile on my face. My friend said in first gear it looks like the speedo was moving the same with the tach From 20-60 it pulls very hard, cant wait to spray it with the converter. Best money spent hands down.

www.converter.cc is Yanks website, I just purchased off their. All togethor after shipping the converter was 725$ and install was 250$ and the trans cooler from B&M was 59$...WORTH EVERY PENNY.
A Trans Cooler is strongly reccomended. If I would have known a converter could make this much of a difference I would of bought it before exhaust, even before a new drop in airfilter. I love this thing!!
