Default my 4l60e trans went south, need new one

For the last 2 weeks my car has been down, due to the crappy 4l60e trans slipping so bad, the car came to the point were it just wont move and over heats. My question is: which would be the best direction to go from here? What trans do you recommend? YANK, OR FLP level IV? I really like the FLP vaccumm shift option. I'm looking for a trans that shifts hard and firm, and will take the abuse of track use, to street racing.

FLP Level IV. Best proven 4L60E out there.

Others have had good luck with Yank, etc but everyone is pretty damn happy with FLP.

www.flp2win.com

Your best bet is to call Chuck Johnson at 630-820-9294. He'll answer all of your questions.

Just to let you know the FLP or most of the other 4l60e do not use vacuum to shift, they use vacuum to control line pressure. The computer still controls shifts.

I am running FLP's first level IV.

Rebuilding a 4L60E is expensive but worth it.

I could not run 4.10's otherwise.

Yes, you will notice an immense difference. There is nothing like lightning fast shifts.

I love my FLP Level IV.

I also recommend the FLP level IV. It's a proven build that will take some abuse. When it's time for a rebuild for my 4L60E, mine will go to Chuck @ FLP. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
