I've had one in my car for 2 1/2 years and it's been great. Very tame in general driving, but it really wakes the car up.

My recommendation is to have a Transgo shift kit installed while the tranny is out of the car. Doing so will eliminate PWM and prolong your TC clutch life.

I saw .7 improvement with MT Drag radials. With Nittos it was about .4 because I couldn't hook with them and had to ease it out of the hole.

Pulse Width Management is the stock torque converter clutch engagement protocol. It gradually engages the clutch, causing a lot of friction. It will tear up a lot of aftermarket clutches in a short time. The Transgo kit eliminates it, giving a full force apply every time it locks up.

This is not entirely the problem, PWM is a nuisance but the stock
tune also starves the trans for pressure in general at low cruise
and 100% of minimum is still too little. You need to up the line
pressure when locked, earlier w/ torque. Shift kits don't do this
but you can get at it with General Pressure (HPT) on some models or
the force motor table on any of them. Also do not use any funny
juice in the trans if you have this converter, just straight highest
quality DexIII.

The Transgo addresses this too - mechanically rather than electronically. That's why you don't bump up line pressure settings if their shift kit is installed.
