Looks at self. Yeah.. ok?

BTW I didn't post this to instigate anything. I just thought a few people would want to see this video. This video in no way says anything about how fast the 5.0 will be.

Why is the 4.6 stupid? The Mach1 (which is pretty even with a much LARGER displacement LS1 fbody) has a 4.6. So does the 03/04 Cobras.

Talking

I thought that video looked familiar, I had posted it in another thread on here ( https://ls1tech.com/forums/automotiv...-5-0-back.html ) back in December LOL.
But it's a good one and that thread got locked anyway so it's certainly worth seeing again.

really? The new mclaren car uses a 3.8l V8 ferrari uses a 4.5 in their new car and makes way more power than even the cts-v

there is a replacement for displacement. its called technology and forced induction

Search Mihovetz and educate yourself about the 4.6. You'll realize
that there has never been a LSx car to run as fast as him with his stock Ford
4.6 block.

We don't need another thread brought down to the 8th grade level. Keep it on track please.

Thanks.

If there is a "replacement for [adding] displacement" then why do all manufacturers constantly INCREASE the displacement of their engines? Ferrari's 3.6L V8 became a 4.3L V8, and now a 4.5L V8 for example.
There are no replacements (a replacement wouldn't add weight, cost or decrease gas mileage), only alternatives.

how about this the 4.6 is junk unless it has 4 valves per cylinder and a blower stuffing boost into the throttle body. case closed. the 5.0 will not be the same as the old 5.0 its still a dohc motor, not a pushrod motor like the original 5.0.........i have a few bolt on and no tune and ive blown some stock or slightly modded 03 cobras out the water. the only decent mustang is the 03 or 04 cobra. well i take that back i like 68 fastback stangs.

what does it matter if it is a stock block, the price of a different block is almost nothing when looking at the total cost of that car. What does it even matter that it is a ford for that matter.

Junk implies it's a bad motor. That's simply not the case. I don't understand the need for all the trolling. Not only that, you are wrong to boot.

Yes, yes you did. It was a nonsensical lol. But you lol'd non-the-less.

It's amazing what simply posting such a video does to a few people in here.

Might as well lock this one too.
