Default Corvette C7 Technical Drawings Posted Online

It looks like Jalopnik's interpretation from months ago was spot on.

I've really been hoping they do something else with her *** cause that thing's funky. On a positive note the interior layout looks awesome. The dash reminds me of the later C4s, but modernized.

The car hasn't even been made yet and the dash already looks 20 years old. Other than that, it's not terrible.

Oh so GM let you have a sneak peak at the real thing? Or are you just making this conclusion off a DRAWING of it?

Well, the interior looks good and the cars side profile looks alright, but not really feeling the rear-end, reminds me too much of the Camaro. The C6 has won me over and I think will always be my personal favorite, but I'm curious to see what this one will be about.

I don't think the Corvette has had a remotely decent looking *** end for a long time. But that's what the Ford guys (and more commonly these days the Euro guys) get to look at so why bother wasting time on it? The rest of it looks great.

Roofline makes me think of a Nissan 300Z.

Am I the only one who thinks the new interior looks similar in design to the C4's later interior design?
Not a bad thing, just looks similar in design IMO.

Obviously the C7 has a 21st century look to it, but there seem to be a lot of similarities.

I instantly thought of the Supra interior.

Doesn't matter what they do, they could put a Corvette badge on a Ferrari/Aston/etc and people would bitch about the interior if they couldn't find anything else to complain about.

I suppose...

But I was mostly referring to the indentation at the top of the dash above the gauges, the placement of the center air vent, and the driver's center handle that the two share. The C4 design seems much closer to the C7 than the C5.

The C5 has design cues that are closer to a C2's design (at least in essence).

Just to be clear, I like the interiors of all the corvettes except the early C4 and all the C2's.
Just don't like how the C2's lower dash slopes away from the driver and is too bland.

This is one of the best images I've seen to date. It has really grown on me and I already like it better then the base C6, more aggressive and modern and I'm sure the interior will be a bit of an upgrade as well. Here's to the future.

It's pretty cool how the interior is driver centered, still need to see it in person.

I like everything except for the back of it, the tail lights in particular, I hope that is changed before production of the C7 begins...
