Default Last parts of rearend project

Over the last week I've been removing my rear end. I got full Hendrix axles and an 07 diff on the way but what bushings should I get? I realize the axles will kill wheelhop but I feel I should still have poly. Are all 3 usually replaced? What r brands and where can I get em? I had a clunk b4 the rear got worse. And I hate that a caddi makes noise like that and was most certain it was bushings and def from rear. So which n where should I order?

If you are talking diff bushing, go with creative steel, Max does excellent work.

In the 04/05 you can benefit from the Specter Werks cradle bushings.

I have both.

Just the one in the ear gets replaced. The other 2 stay stock, I dont think anyone makes polly ones yet.

For the one for the ear creative steel makes a good one. Gray polly is the one you want.

So I went to my caddy dealer today to get fluid n he said they were out of the gm stuff n gave me mobile 1 75w90 synthetic "LS" when I asked bout the limited slip addative he said I shouldn't need it cuz the fluid is made for lim slip diffs. So I'm goin with prolly buy it anyway am I correct? Plus how much fluid does an 07 diff hold?

I almost lost my mind when my cadi dealer told me the GM gear oil was 35$ a bottle.

yes you do need the additive.

I forgot how much fluid mine took, I pumped in one bottle, then added then limited slip additive, then pump more gear oil till it start to spill back out
( i think about half of the second bottle but cant remeber exactly)

WTF? where'd you get that idea?

http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/..._75W-90LS.aspx

Nearly all synthetics have the friction modifier already in the fluid. Adding more will allow the clutches to slip more, making it an open diff.

Even with the modifier in the gear oil, sometimes you get the chatter and grinding. The V diff seems to like the addition of the modifier on top of the gear oil regardless if it has it in it already.

You will need it anyway. I have needed the additive with GM, Redline, Mobile 1, and Amsoil SVG diff fluids to completely get rid of the chatter.

Did you buy a brand new Diff btw or were you able to score a used one?

Im keeping an eye out for 06-07 diff myself , but theres no way I can dish out 1,600 for a new one.
