Make us a true believer and throw some drag radials on it and do that same launch at a drag strip.

Default Will be coming next year

Will be coming next year, need nice weather. But seeing that the second rear end that lasted 2 months with the BMR parts on it, not bashing BMR because I still have them on the car, is shown in pieces on our website. We have made it a lot stronger.

I just know that even with aftermarket parts that cure wheel hop 100% on the street, if you take it to the track itll still hop just as bad as it would stock.

I understand what you are saying and I am not saying this is to cure for wheel hop, I am not sure if you checked out our website but the 1 st Rear made a noise and then gave out when I bought the car. The 2nd one was a power shift 1st too 2nd with no wheel hop just a big thump, crash whatever you want to call it! ( Remember GM sold this car as a Vette with 4 Doors ) The rear end has a decent ring and pinion and bearing size however they made it out of the wrong material as can be seen on the new V's that are metal. Our goal was to make it a lot stronger and as you might be aware from the first time I said something about our Girdle it been Great for a year with no noise or leaks ( as can be seen on the You Tube video ) and I was hard on it so I could feel good about it. As you know it is a problem, then add in the fact that these cars like the Impala SS will be Collector Items. With this Girdle there is no modifications to the car, no cutting and we made it so it should be able to be done in the car by lowering the rear cradle like in an axle replacement. I am not done with this car and I will give honest feedback ( I will find out 1st hand what the increased HP limit might be ) and we are even giving money off for feedback from our customers if they wish.

I will sell it one of two ways, Half Girdle ($400) and Full ($900) both of which should be able to be installed like a urethane Bushing kit by lowering the front and then the back however I did take the Rear end out in mine do to replacement. I can be contacted at Jimmi@TCPerformance.info or cell 630 258-2582, because of my other company I am out of cell coverage a lot so please leave a message.

Is this girdle suitable for a GenI rear as well? I am wondering how well the girdle strengthens the nose piece and if I would still have to worry about grinding the diff.

Yes, I understand and that is why I designed this, the fact is if you drive these cars as GM sold them ( 4 Door Corvette ) the rear end will break in stock form and as you know you don’t need wheel hop to do so, mine has around 25,000 on it. I am making them by Hand and put in about 30 man hours on them for a Full Girdle. The Back plate contains our Logo which also is done to reduce weight.

I will sell it one of two ways, Half Girdle ($400) and Full ($900) both of which should be able to be installed like a urethane Bushing kit by lowering the front and then the back however I did take the Rear end out in mine do to replacement. As far as 1st (2004-05) and 2nd (2006-07) design goes, yes it will. If you watch the video on You Tube the Black Girdle is shown on the 1st and the Red is on the second. I can be contacted at Jimmi@TCPerformance.info or cell 630 258-2582, because of my other company I am out of cell coverage a lot so please leave a message.
Thank you,
Jimmi
TCPerformance.info
*Also for a limited time what I can do, if you are willing to give me complete feedback, I would be willing to give you $100.00 off the Full Girdle.

I am not really sure what axles would do? If you go to our website: TCPerformance.info and look at Shop Project 2 there is a picture of the 2nd busted rearend. When torque hits the rear end the front of the rear end wants to twist ( because it only mounts on passengers side )and go up, that can be seen by the way it busted. For You Tube video type: TC Performance CTS-V Rear end Girdle. The 1st Video is the car lanuching at 3800 rpm with 315 soft compund tires. Below shows kaddo101 Girdle test fitted on a 1st Gen V rearend ( Black ) and the 2nd is the one on our car after being on there for a year.

Wheel hop is the main cause of why so many diffs have blown. Axles eliminate wheel hop and in turn reduce the chance of blowing the diff substantially. I cant see a girdle eliminating wheel hop personally but it would help strengthen the rear when it does hop.

Also, ive seena few members on here break CVs which if you upgrade to full axles eliminates hop and gives you Cvs that will take the abuse.
