Widened to 10"

My car is in storage, can't take it out until I remove it from storage (still mucho snow here). My strut brace will/should clear the whipple, considering it fits under the stock brace, but if I need a new one I will definitely give you a shout.

Looks very cool. What does it cost to do something like that, mainly the powder? If you don't want to reveal that it's cool.

I paid 280 for the powder coating, had to order in a custom color. Rim widening was about 500.00 plus shipping.

KDWII are a great tire untill they run low on tread.. They get real noisey and the ride feels like a runflat.. 295??

Ya somewhere between gunmetal and stock, close up it has black and silver fleck in it.
Yes 295/35's. I heard about the KDW's being noisy but I have noisier things on my car lol.
I wanted to go Nitto NT05's but they won't ship to Canada from U.S. suppliers. I figured the KDW would be a close match.

Man that is some serious monster meat on the back, I have NT555-275's and thought those where going to be big!
Please post up a bunch of photos when installed and also a shot of the new wide rear end.
Your ride should have some great grip now with the new additions.

For sure. How did you live with the auto CTS? I guess when the mod bug bites, it bites you hard.

I wonder how they would preform under "harsh" conditions...hum...

I see shitty drivers breaking wheels at the track all day, even CCW's!

Looks sick!

now to fit a 10inch rim do you have to do anything to the rear suspension to make it fit?

Aftermarket trailing arms i'm sure plus wheel spacers.

Since people are asking, here is the info
I went through weldcraft wheels.
http://www.weldcraftwheels.com

I also have MAP trailing arms to allow for wider tires/rims
There are some listed on Ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MAP-T...Q5fAccessories

Here is my post on cadillacowners it covers it pretty well.
http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...e-10-rims.html

I also have 5mm wheel spacers just in case from

Looks like 11"+ on tread width.
You're definately pushin' the 'danger zone' on width, even with the MAP trailing arms.
I hope it works for you (without the spacers) and it will really be 'bad-***' lookin'.
Can't wait to see photos.
