Default So the v was in an accident...

Long story short some old woman ran me off the road a few weeks back and my 05 v kissed the guard rail. The insurance paid me out for the car and I took the option of keeping the car as well. I have a few guys working on it and it will be done in a week. I kind of want to part with it considering I am gonna have about 6000 left over when she is finished. I was considering an 06 or newer V due to a better dif on it or just scratch that all together and go with a 05-06 c6. Would love a z06 or the new v but have to be realistic. long story short I'm going to manheim auto dealer auction two fridays from now and I'm coming home in a car.

I was just out in Manheim(at a small dealership) today and picked up a Silver '04 V. 23K miles and basically perfect! Need to get pictures when the sun comes out.

If by chance you're looking for an 'As New' V1, check out this e-bay listing.
2006 w/ 1,000 miles!

He said 6k not 16. Your into a blower 5k alone lol. Unless he plans on buying a set of pistons and setting them in the garage as a display.

Have fun with the install! There is a reason like 2 people i have ever seen in this section in 3 years have done it. EPP used to sell the kit for like $8k installed which would equate to 3500 in labor according to your parts price. It also took EPP a long time before they would even sell it without them installing.

Itisslow keep in mind that 4500 is for the kit there is another about 700 dollars worth of parts you need to source to make it work. Second any shop is out to make money. So your looking at about 5200+ tune if you do the install yourself.

So just picked up a sts turbo kit from a goat for a killer deal will be slightly custom fitting the pipes. Bought it cause I dont know if I want to keep the v or go with a c6 vette next friday at the manheim dealer auction. I know I should easily be able to custom fit it to either car since they are all ls2's anyway. I wanna keep the v but keep straying due to the scare of blowing the dif. especially after this instal

Take care of the wheel hop and you probably won't have a problem. Just don't downshift in the rain and stay off the 1/4 mile prepped tracks.

pictures you say. They took all the **** off to take picks the car runs and drives. The radiator is fkd and so is the light fender and bumper. Had a guard rail go directly into the front driver headlight. ughhh breaks my heart to pull these up but in the end it gets me $$$ and a maggie. Thank you progressive

PS if anyone knows for anyone looking for an sts turbo kit for a gto I got it. hit me up
