Default cruise control

Mine doesn't work and I can't figure out why. Is there a dedicated fuse for it or a module I can check? When I hit the power button it lights up but the cruise itself will not set. 2004 cts v

Are you doing it correctly? Did it work previously?
You need to push the button to illuminate the green light, then you press set iirc.

I haven't ever used it before. I've had the car maybe a month. As far as I know I'm doing it correctly. When you hit the power button on the wheel And try to set it nothing lights up on the dash. Maybe its just me and I'm having a blonde moment. I'll loom again tody.

You have to be over 25-30mph to set it. Not sure on what exactly is it... but def. over 30mph for SURE

If you can't set it, you might have to replace that cruise control stalk. Its a $40 part last I checked. You can check the fuses... remember you got 2 boxes under the rear seats too.

clutch switch. Cruise won't kick in if it thinks you've pressed in the clutch or brakes.

Oh OK I get it now. I'll try that on my break. If it starts without the clutch engaged what's the next step

Probably replace the clutch switch. Or make sure it's plugged in and not been messed with at least.

Well it wouldn't start without the clutch pushed in. Two of my tpms do not work. Could that be it?

Yup I figured that out. I reprogrammed the tpms ans I can turn the traction all the way off but can't go into comp mode. Looks like I'm gonna need a reflash on the Nav.
