I posted this over at the other site, but haven't got any help just a link to Lollys diff bushing thread that I have read 3 times and didnt see any answers to my questions.
I bought the Creative Steel diff bushing and block.
What are the torque specs on the bolts? or just tighten them pretty tight?
Should I put anything on the bolts like loctite or thread tape so they dont back out?
I have a 21mm wrench, do I need a 21mm Gearwrench?
I'm going try to do this without the tool, anyone have any pointers on what to do and not to do?

I just went through and did this myself, even ruining one bushing in the process ...
A gear wrench would make your life a billion times easier, but I did it with a deep, shallow and open-end sockets and wrench. When putting it in, get the eyelet on the diff HOT. I mean, really, really HOT. I sat under there with a torch and bottle of MAPP gas for a good 10min. The first time I *****-footed around and just sorta warmed it up a bit, which resulted in a broken bushing.
Freeze the bushing, coat it in some lubricant (I used Coastal gen purpose grease), put on some gloves and slide that sucker in there. I fought it forever the first time, the second time I just popped it right in with my gloved hands.
If you think it's hot enough, heat it another few minutes.

I just did it "Good-n-tight," I had a hard enough time getting a ratchet up there with the limited clearance I had; I suppose if you had it up on a lift you could get a tq wrench up there.
Maybe check alldata ? I am sure it's floating around this board somewhere, but honestly the stock nut/bolt wasn't ridiculously tight, I can't imagine it needing more than what you can put on with a strong arm and a decent half-inch drive.

Gear wrench sure does make life easier. There's lots of 21mm bolts in this car. Highly recommend getting one. 13mm, 18mm, 21mm are all good pick ups.
I would just crank the f'r down as tight as you can. If you are that worried about it, put loctite on the threads.

Lolly thats what I was wondering if I tighten the bolts tight enought I wouldnt need loctite. In your write up it didnt say anything about loctite or how tight. So I just want to make sure. If I can get my torque wrench in there I will torque it down. Thanks guys. If you guys can think of anything else I'm probably not going to do it for a week or two.
