Default For those looking: '06 with 8,500 miles!

Figured I'd pass this along. Sounds like the type of car you'd want to buy.

There's got to be a catch, like you have to spend a week as his gimp. The whole post just seems too suspect. Wealthy, elderly doctor selling his V with only 800 miles on it *and* he can't price it right? Could be a Sandy car with a rolled back odo.

For $24.5k, that's the best deal I think I've ever seen on a V.

Too bad it's an LS2.

I paid $18k for an 05 with 13k on it last summer. Salesman is my best friend. He took it in on a trade. Kept the price down for me. I had just been his best man the month before.

Is there a reason the 07 is better then the 06, other then being newer? I've learned from the past that having a car from its first year in production is usually not the best thing... Although the gto's did have ls2's in 05.

meh, id save a little more and buy a v2... Just cause its got 8500 miles doesnt mean much in my opinion. Its still plagued with all the same problems we have. Id either save up more to buy a v2, or just buy a v1 with 75k miles for way less.

Post it on www.QuattroWorld.com There's a vehicle classifieds forum. If you're not already on that forum...

Catch20two, ppl looking to pick up a v1 are typically not going to be in the v2 market. Last i checked, decent 09's were $39k and up...thats $15k (60%) more than this car. Ppl buy v1's because they like them (great bang for the buck) or they either cant/dont want to spend that much on a v2.

The car would be an awesome base to start with. If your planning to get a v2 then your right, its not a good buy.

I think the v1 is a great buy as well. But when you look at how many clean
v1s are for sale for much less then 25k with some of the usual problems already addressed, this low miles v starts looking over priced. But there is value in a very low miles car. Im sure he'll find the right owner.

I wonder what else is in his garage...

Yes, first thing that caught my attention. Doesn't mean he's not a stand up guy. Its not modded, so im not surprised he wasnt on forums before. Hes smart, market it to the people who are most likely to be looking for one, on a forum specifically for them. A first time poster would the same as craigslist, you dont know their reputation either.

Best thing to do is see it in person if you are truely interested. I would never buy a car w/o seeing it in the flesh.
