Nice job! I kind of just did the same thing. She went from a 2002 BMW 325i to a 2012 new body 328i she got to custom order from BMW.

Haha, yeah... I've decided to let the V sit for another year. My original plan was to get her fixed this month, then get Kacey her car next year, then wait another 2 years after that before I get a new V but by getting her car now I will get my new VA year early... It sucks that my baby elk be sitting for so long but will be worth it in the long run...

Nice SUV, definitely an upgrade! I got this in Dec for my wife...the way I see it, is get them what they want the first time around, so you don't have to hear about for at least a while lol. It drives really good and sticks to ground, but still can't keep up with the V.

My mom bought an fx45 when they came out in 04. I must say that was the ballziest suv out for quite a while. Being my parents and not knowing crap about maintenance I asked her after 20k who does your oil and she told me she never changed it LOL. At 140k now and it still runs as strong as ever. The only thing we ever replaced on that car were the rotors and tires. Never had any issues at all. Other minor issue is the bose sub mounted in the trunk that shorts out. No mechanical issues what so ever.

Just a thought...but if you turn the emblems upside down on that car.....Could be a new V symbol!

I just got a call from the dealership. apparently the car doesn't have navigation! The stated that the face unit looks like navigation and that they are very sorry for the mix up... I ended up getting them to give my wife a 2yr/ 30k mile powertrain warranty on parts and labor at boo additional cost! I was pissed at first but this made me feel better... I can just get a cool aftermarket nav/ head unit on the cheap...

Well I killed the deal on the 06 fx35.. I'm out $700 on a flight and deposit because the dbags lied about options on the car and didn't want to provide anything in return... the add stated that the car has navigation and even the dealer said that it had it. Well it turns out that it didn't so they offered a 2 yr warranty because it didn't have it which I was fine with! I get the contract in the mail and upon reviewing it I found that they were charging me for the warranty so I called and told them that they need to eat the charge... They said that they couldn't do that so I walked away! So now i'm going to look at an 06 white fx35 on 20s with less miles... You live and learn! Lol

Btw, I was ready to walk away from it if it didn't pass the pre purchase inspection from the mechanic that was meeting me at the dealership... Just sucks that I had to walk away because people are scumbags...

sucks to hear that. They really shouldve knocked the price down a bit for false advertising.
