Default Ls3 into a 06 V

I just recently bough and 06 v that currently spun a bearing. I am looking to do a ls3 motor to it. I have one lined up but just wanted to make sure everything is pretty much plug and play. I have done some researching and could not find a good write up. if anyone could help me out that would be great. Thanks

Thanks for the search I have done it and there are no clear answers for the 06 being the ls2 and not the ls6.

My bad, I saw 6 and read LS6. Well, my second google search found a guy (Minytrker) on CF who not only completed the swap, but dynoed and posted a pic. First hit no less. This project is well above my capabilities, but its out there is all I'm saying.

LS2 CTS-Vs are super easy to swap to LS3. The ECU can read the 58x crank reluctor, which is one of the biggies. Knock sensors are in the same spot, as are pretty much all other sensors. The LS2 map sensor has a smaller nub that goes in the intake manifold, so you have to put a piece of hose on it. That's about it.
