That's a pretty nice looking piece! Wonder if they plan on making more of them?

They’re currently out of stock on this item as they discontinued the part. However, they’re going to make another small run of these sometime early next year. Get on the list now if you want one!

Didn't see this in the entire thread but Chevy Uplander hubs are 33 spline, carry the same sensor, and are 6x115.

Talking Best mod ever!!!!

So I have a stock 2007 Cts v. I literally took a stock 2011 Cts v coupe rear sub frame auto 3.23 gears and bolted in no fabrication needed. I ordered a new 2004-2007 Cts v pinion flange for 65 dollars from rock auto shipped to my door. Used cheap 2006 Chevy up-lander front hubs routed abs sensor wires thru holes in knuckle. Switched parking brakes to my stock back-plates w/shoes assembles. Then I removed Magnaride sensors (sold) removed Magnaride shocks (sold) removed electric parking brake (sale pending) switched Left to Right parking brake cables around in mounts as newer cts v comes from other side. Grabbed some longer bolts and bolted it in. Stock driveshaft still has play in it front to rear. I have a spacer to install just have not done it and not sure it needs it as i i can move it over .5 inches front to back. I Then ordered a 400 dollar Maximizer 2.5 stainless cat back off ebay for a 2009-2015 sedan and i cut front pipes up and used all supplied clamps no welding or fabrication on this project. This is by car the best thing I have done to my v. It handles so much better no wheel hope launching is a breeze. Rear track is 2 inches wider tires do come past flush with quarters not to the point of looking terrible. I have put 250 miles on this so far as I just installed new engine also. Future plans, I am going to use some zr1 2009 hubs all 4 corners and 2010-2015 camaro rotors center bored out to fit hub and corvette wheels with more offset to make it perfect as wheels r cheap. Also the rear gears are awesome as I daily this car 365 days a year. I have a cam motion titain 4 cam, dorman ls2 intake, with a forged bottom end ls2. These gears make this car perfect as goal with engine was road race. Total rear end cost was around 1K after I sold my stock diff, axles, then I sold parts that came on near sub frame not being used (magnaride stuff). Also there is a temp sender in bottom of v2 diff. I am going to extend wires from tans temp sender tie them in together with a switch under dash so i can flip it and display rear diff temp on my display. Heat is biggest killer of v2 rear ends need to install 75w-140 oil instead of 80w-90. They are cast iron and do not shed heat so every 10K miles spend the 1 hr and change fluid and you will have no bearing failure!

rear end, new engine installed,

maximizer headers 2004-2007 cts v (kooks knock offs) maximizer catback 2009-2015 sedan. Under $1000 dollars shipped to my door bolted in with 4 cuts to front pipe and discarding other front pipe

stock 2011 cts v coupe subframe
2 inch wider rear track stock gen 1 wheels 245 45 18 tires

2 inch wider rear track stock gen 1 wheels 245 45 18 tires

2 inch wider rear track stock gen 1 wheels 245 45 18 tires

no the coils are the 2011 cts v coupe coils. Uncut They would be trimmed 1/4 1/2 coil to make it sit perfect but I have been enjoying driving car to much to bother. It sat for a month while I decided what I wanted to do.

Those are wheels I will go to stock offset is 42 on 2004-2007 cts v wheels 18x8.5 these wheels will make tires stick back in 14mm or .55 per side. I will be going with 4 same size square setup. Fronts will require arp studs and 1/2 wheel spacers so they retain spacing and don't hit steering spindle (where ball joint for upper control arm is). I also forgot to mention when someone uses camaro rotors and is going to do like me when i go to this wheel it involves retaining the newer style parking brake assembles which I still have and did not sell. Wheels come in a set shipped for $744 plus hubs from a zr1 which are 33 spline and retain the same style ABS system and lug stud size.

also. Car rides and handles great with stiffer springs. It feels so planted and smoother.

notes on exhaust. Make sure to lay a straight edge on header flange because lets be real they are made in china. They were a little warped but fitment was good. Needed to clearance and remove steering shaft to install as with kooks.

How did u make sure to have the right preload on pinion now with the new flange or why didn't u use the aftermarket coupler to connect V1 driveshaft to V2 pinion flange, it also has the right height to compensate the length difference of ds?!

Regards
Ron

To answer one of your questions AFAIK paragon is currently doing preorders for the V1 ds to V2 diff coupler. Due to start shipping in April or May. Seems like they only make them once a year. if you are considering buying one I would put an order in as they are almost impossible to find resale

i called 6 months ago and out my name on list 265 dollars plus shipping and I paid less than 100 has held up to over 425rwhp over 140mph topend so far and 980 miles of me **** pounding it to break only thing that did happen was I did not torque cv axles to stub shafts and I had to have car towed home to regrease and torque. So once again part u can buy for 50-70 dollars shipped to your door or just reuse off ur v1 rear if ur not selling it

Default parts list cheap

$1000-1600 shipped 2009-2015 CTS V auto or manual rear subframe complete (2011 coupe 30k auto 3.23, what I used)
$82 (2x$41) 2x MEVOTECH H513236 (33 spline 6 bolth wheel hubs)
$57 1x ACDELCO 19179934 (pinon flange v1)
$12 1x SUNSONG 2201409
$9 1x SUNSONG 2201637
$10 universal metric fittings 2x i believe 14mm thread flare fittings for stock hard lines in rear of car this will make sense once you get rear end and get new brakes lines installed.
$25 bolts for subframe (newer rear uses longer bolts as mounts are bigger).

-$350-550 old v1 diff complete sold
-$150-300 stock v1 axles
-$125-150 stock magnaride shocks if decent shape
-$50-100 stock electric parking brake from new rear end
10-15 hrs time for part research and labor to make it all work. This should help alot of people it is very easy to do

here is my new combo this is 21 degrees timing 12.2 afr no wheel hop. This is one of worst launches I have had with this rear end. This speedo is calibrated to the 3.23 gears and actually rears 1mph under going 130 mph shows 131 on gps

Can you remove any material from the inboard side of the wheel to clear the quarters?
