I have been doing some looking trying to find the best deal on some FG2 shocks and found that there is a full racing suspension upgrade part number 12480062 at a cost of $2673 and wanted some help on what to go with for a daily driver, weekend track car.. anybody got any input??? or just go with the FG2's and keep the extra money???

Yes, you can order the kit or the pieces through GM direct parts. It will ride very very very rough though. Rode in a C5 last year with the complete T1 package and it rode like a tank. The sway bars, shocks and other components are avialable seperately though.

That is a Z06 kit... not a V kit. (FWIW, V's race in T2 class, not T1 class, and they have to race w/stock suspension - just wider wheels).
If you are asking about the Z06 kit, that kit was not designed for the street... as posted above very rough ride, and the sway-bar endlinks are metal-on-metal... so they squeak and creak something awful.
