Default Got rear-ended last night!!!! Wtf!!!!

Ok Ya'll I was at the intersection of 121 heading North on Preston stopped at the light at about 6:30pm waiting for it to turn green! The light turned green so I looked to the right to make sure no cars were coming which is what I always do on 121 since you have a 60mph speed limit which in everyone elses eyes meens 75mph...

As SOON as I looked to the right to make sure I was clear to drive the guy in a Chevy 1500 nailed me from behind!!! I have had my car for 1 month and ALREADY have been hit!!! The good thing is that the guy did have insurance and that it was his fault which means that I dont have to pay a deductable to get my car fixed! The funny thing is that the guy told me that not 2 minutes earlier he was checking out my car...

I am sooo PISSED because I have no idea how long its going to take for my car to get fixed!!?!?!? I am going to be taking it to CREST cadillac to have the work done but have to wait 24 to 48 hours for the insurance adjuster to contact me! my poor car

Ouch. Make sure you check the entire exhaust, including manifolds. Some times getting rearended will crack the manifolds or kink the exhuast.

Hopefully it's a quick fix.

Having had my Town Car in 2 accidents in the past year, I can give you one word of advice...find an adjuster that is also a shop! If time is crucial, the down time waiting for adjusters to make the rounds is what makes a 2 week fix take 4...

That sucks, but it's hard to guess how long it will take to fix it since you didn't put up any pictures. I would imagine it will probably take at least 2 to 3 weeks, depending on how bad it is and how long it takes to get the ball rolling. They should be getting you a rental car though, right?

My insurance(AAA) assigned me an adjuster. They did say that I can take my car to ANY location that I want without worry of them not covering the cost as long as all parts added were already in the car with no new parts being added that were not in the car in the first place!!!. Anyone have some broken STS rearmounted TT that we can do a quick install on lol, j/k

could be days could be weeks man, depends. Tell his insurance company that he totally screwed the resale of the car now, and get yourself a down payment on a maggie with the money be beat outa your car.

I would think twice about taking that car to Crest. Mine was fixed there right before I bought it. I am not overly impressed.
