Default 86 Trans Am project

I have been planning on going single turbo on my 86 Trans Am for the longest, i got a few parts ready for a 5.3 swap and get it set up for boost, have a pan, an intake (vic Jr), and a selection of exhaust manifolds to use for the hot side. But, a guy offered to trade me my Vic Jr for a few turbo parts and i just couldnt turn it down, here is the project:

Here are the parts:

Nice dude, and I agree, it can be done, just have to alternate months or split the money LOL. I have a 1999 Formy I am restoring, a 1989 Formy toy/6.0 and a 1983 Van/hauler.

You, like me, are probably just the type of person that can't leave anything alone. Even when the GFs car breaks, I mod it with aftermarket stuff.

That's a nice clean bird to start with though, is it just primer?

HAHAHA, sounds like me, My camaro is at rollbar teritory, so its time to leave it alone, and work on something else. My new project is also a turbo LS, in a 65 Biscayne that I have had for a few years.

****, gotta make it, bigger, faster, stronger, the old SBC with a cam and vortec heads is just a thing of the past. Reliable and runs good, but not good enough.

Alright, got a few more things, Vic Jr intake, 6010 controller, TH400 from TCI, cam and engine plates.

Cam is supposed to be a Patriot grind, 225/229 @.050, .581/.591 on a 114, so i think it will work well with boost with a 114 LSA, I wanted a cam that would work on motor till i got the rest of everything else together.

Going to go next week and see if i score a 5.3 with 243 heads for about 400$, then use the 243s on my 89 RS and then swap out some 241s or 317s onto the 5.3 short block.

I will be running a holley HP carb on motor till i get the blow through built or bought, then i need a BOV and WG for the boost, then, all i should have left is a fuel system that will cope(A1000 and regulator) and plumbing for the turbo routing.

Dunno bro, funds are dried up after i get a 5.3 and a converter, so it will be a bit, maybe if i get lucky, income taxes will shed some light on piping, WG, BOV and fuel system, then...go time.
