Default heres a quick run down of my carbed setup

2006 iron block
2007 LS2/LQ9 internals with rod bolts
853 casting heads stock 67CC chambers minor port on intake and exh
comp cams 54-448-12 shelf cam
super vic carb
holley race HP 830
msd 6010 curve pill #1
F body front accy's
kooks 1 3/4 lts
3" mandrel bent duals into 1 chamber flows
full man valve body 4L60e yank 4Kss with kevlar lock up clutchs

baseline dyno of 423/373 unlocked stall

map out your timing table instead of the modules. Mine likes 36 dgrees total timing. Initial 20 to 25 all in by 3500.

i have since then but havent got back on dyno
on the street its a diff car since then

carbs definitely like more timing. I am just finishing up my ls 383 into a 91 mustang. Ran 10.4's on motor in the camaro and should do better now.

Oh yea, from the #6 pill, to my tune it was way better, and even better since then.

1k-2k 16 deg-28deg
3K 32deg
4k 34 deg all out


thats were im at now just for time being will get back on dyno once im off the curent job and can get back to the car to tweak on it some more in late spring

are the 853 on 5.3s or 5.7s?

yes at the wheels on the dyno numbers for a baseline it shocked me i bout fell out

853 heads are a 98-99 5.7 heads

At what RPM did peak hp and tq occur? Nice numbers. Eric L

6000-6300'sh if i remember correct the sheet is with the car 1100 miles away from me right now
