950-1000cfm 4150 carb

i like quick fuel carbs, the Q-series is nice, but that cam seems rather small for a 400+ cube motor

If you are choosing the 4150 style and going with the Holley brand carbs, get the 1000 CFM HP: http://www.holley.com/0-80513-1.asp
It has a larger venturi size. The 950HP is not really 950CFM. It is just a 780 CFM with an 850 baseplate. I think your large motor will like the 1000HP.

It takes alot of experince to tune a dominator on the street, like guys stick wires in the fuel orfices in the metering blocks and stuff like that lol. I think were going to go with a 950.
A dominator is not goin to happin as he has a 4150 flange. He already thinks the 950 is to big lol. we have a buddy with a 402 with ls3 heads and mast single plain with a 1050 4150 and it runs pretty good

i'll tell you like i tell everybody else. 950 is really a 750, 1000hp/QF1050 are really just 850's and contrary to popular belief dominators are not hard to tune for clean street driving. circuitry all works the same.
