Default ANOTHER 6 LTR MUSTANG GLORY STORY with track times

My shop specializes in LSX conversions & this car belongs to a good friend.I did alot of consulting but he did ALL the work.
Mustang Notch FULL Interior with Power Windows & locks ,ALL Glass with a Fiberglass cowl hood.
6 LTR out of a BURNT van with unknown miles,ARP rod bolts.
Scoggin Dickey CNC L92's
Single Plane Victor Jr. with a Holley 750
Turbo 350 with a 4k stall [footbraked]
3:73 gears with a spool on MT 325/15 DR's
Car has been Mini Tubbed with a used ladder bar setup & 8.8 Rear end.
on motor best pass was 11.35 1/4.........
ADD 100 WET SHOT = 10.12
ADD 150 WET SHOT =9.84 @ 137MPH 1/4.......6.28 1/8
LAST & FASTEST pass was bumpin lmyr in 2nd & 3rd ....after alot of reviewing the vid we discovered as we suspected the trans was slipping pretty good .
Anyway just another testimony to the LS family !

Car is 3100lbs with driver.....ye those mustangs SUCK.....
Cam is custom specd by Pat G. for 200 shot with a 850 carb [the 750 is paid for & what we had] 598/6?? on LUC lobes I think ?
We left EVERYTHING up to Pat & followed ALL of his recomendations ,as you know he is VERY detailed on the info of the car , gears , weight ,Trans , ect.& this was the results !
Car picked up 1.23 on a 100 shot with the trans slippng....WOW.....THANKS Pat G. ! !

I do not want to be neg, but my stock 6.0 with the trex went 11.18 all motor at 3450 pounds, just seems with that much cylinder head that there should be more in it with 350 less pounds, unless the 60 foot was garbage.

As I posted Trans was SLIPPING & the cam was specd for a 200 shot .I firmly believe with the trans issue fixed there is at least 3 tenths or better left on the table & this is with a 750 Holley .Still a 9.84 ....slipping @ 137 is not too bad for a STREET CAR with Power Windows & Locks .....FULL interior .

Ye ALOT of people say Larry Larson's car is not a street car but he drove cross COUNTRY in it.....There will always be critics ...you know the ones who's stuff is SLOW>>>>ER or they just did not take the time or do thier homework to put together a nice, fast STREET car [Full Interior,Power Windows & locks ].
I don't care what it is if it is fast it deserves credit & there are alot of rides out there that are BUILT NOT BOUGHT that do.

Not trying to bash. My car was all street, 3450, manual Trans, 87 octane, 1.53 60 foot times. 350 pounds lighter, more head and compression, just odd. I understand slipping a converter on nitrous, but if it is gaining that much, it isn't blowing through. Not from my experience. Should be deep 10s all motor.

Maybe they had the timing way down for the nitrous. There could be a ton of things. DA,How many passes, jetting, ect ect.
I'm guessing that this was the first time out for this car. There could be allot left in it from tuning, driving ect.

This was the FIRST trip to spray it , car has only been done for 3 months & yes there is alot left in it .Regardless Nitrous Cam cars do not run well on motor .This was a BURNT pullout , I mean he had to scrape the intake off the valve covers & only installed ARP Rod Bolts !Just another testimony to the LS motors.
It is a Street car that ran good on the first time to be sprayed with minimal tuning ,DR's & 3:73's.This car was built in a lil 2 car garage by the owner while working 2-3 jobs ,raisng 2 kids & keeping his wife happy enuf that she is still there, just giving props to a job well done .
I will update after Trans is fixed & we are done with this killer summer heat.
Ye I know his car is light.... my pig is 3450lbs WITHOUT me in it ....but she is .......MY PIG .
