Angry 4.8l nitrous build/ carb lsx

hi im new to the ls world and i bought a 4.8l ls motor out of 06 silverado i was wondering what kind of cam would be a good built for buck for nitrous build heres a list of parts i have in stock have ls2 cam,ls2 timing chain 317 heads with ls6 springs ls7 lifters mind you im using the victor jr. carb setup im not looking for crazy hp just wanna a weekend car that i can run it hard once in a while think a good goal would be 400-500 hp on bottle

What size converter? The edelbrock cams are nice for off the shelf. But there are two.

I'm also curious about a 4.8 cam on the bottle, say a 150 shot. Can you just use a good Na cam and spray it or...? Don't mean to hijack

You can spray any cam, there are nitrous dedicated grinds out there but not for carbed LS off the shelf. If you are. Of exceeding a 200-250 shot, and not using it often, then don't worry about that.

Usually it's in ur best interest to run a little more exhaust duration on a cam planned for nitrous, which helps clear the cylinder and get ready for that next intake charge. Like zone said you can't go wrong with tight lsa edelbrock cams that's for sure.

so should i keep my ls2 cam and run it or get an edlebrock nitrous mind you i wont be spraying it that often maybe looking for 150 shot at most
