Thank you sir! I definitely do appreciate it! I had planned on rebuilding my current box myself so I would know what was going into it but I can't seem to find the rebuild parts anymore. There used to be a place in Michigan that offered a kit but I can't find their site or phone number anymore.

Got a little busy at work
Had to retro-fit a chain drive to a new gear box since the old gear box (direct drive) took a dump and was 12-14 weeks out for re-build....so the plant was down.
Here's the 4', 1300# plus sprocket, and a look at 3-strand #200 chain (37# per foot and 18' long) with me on the left, at around 4am this morning.
I'm beat after 3 days and almost 50hrs.

That'd make for a heck of a bicycle!!!
I just wanted to post up and say Praise God that the time has changed back to normal. Like a lot of people I don't get off work until 6 and was so sick and tired of being able to do NOTHING for months. Supposed to rain all this week here, but had a beautiful weekend and got a lot done outside. Still over 70 outside and I'm taking the boy fishing for a couple hours before the weekend is over. Hope all of ya'll had a great one!!!!

i am also happy about the time change. while i get off at 5, my commute is an hour and 10 to an hour and a half (depending on traffic) and arriving home in the dark for 5 months has been the pits, lol. i have SO many things to do before the race season kicks off and getting home with no motivation to get in the garage has been putting a hurting on things.

Im loving the time change already. Im also out around 2:30 3-ish, Im into work around 4:15AM every day though. We are finally seeing temps above freezing too. I think the northeast is over the hump heading into spring. Its going to be a looong time before all our snow is melted and the roads are clean before I will take the car out.

i'd do it in a heart beat to be home at 2:30, lol. i get up at 4:45 to be able to have time to cook breakfast, shower, and take my happy *** the 55 miles 1 way to work. what really sucks is i am often not back home till after 6:15, so if i want to keep any progress going on my projects, i'm out in the shop till 9pm, then on baby duty for the first part of the night, so i don't get to sleep till near midnight.
C'est la vie

Meh, I'm up by 3:20, 3:30 at the latest, out the door by 3:40 or just after. Then I sit at work for 10-15 minutes on my phone till clock in. Making 21 bucks an hour living this close has me more like 25$ an hour for those with long drives and having gas drinking trucks. Maybe not that much but you get the idea.
And I click out by 2:20-2:25 and pull into my driveway about 2:30.

I'm definitely jelly of your drive in to work. my paycheck keeps me driving long distance though. I'm at or just above 80 miles round trip depending on which route I take. it doesn't seem like much, but Houston traffic will make you want to commit suicide in the middle of the highway.
