hardtrailz; Good to hear, I was a little nervous pulling the trigger on it, but I like the twin dual tips and got it for a good price.

z28_Demon; Thats my hope, I hate road/tire noise! Thank you very much, I appreciate the positive feedback and am doing my best with the time/money I have.

I couldnt leave the car to rot!

Working on the rear of the car for a bit now, I installed the urethane bump stops, sway bar endlinks, removed the stock exhaust and starting rolling the rear fenders for the future 315's. I want to do this now before the paint work and Im right there anyway.

I have the cat back system painted, hoping to fend off some rust and corrosion, even if for a short time. I will probably end up changing the exhaust again at some point anyway...

I installed the strut tower brace, hood pin and warning decal for the remote start.

The rear brake kit came in today, I decided to use the One Click system so that everything is new. The factory drivers side caliper is damaged, the arm for the park brake is broken off and wont hold the cable anymore. The pads are pretty low and the rotors are rusty from sitting, so just junk it all. I should be installing that in the next few days, along with painting the rear axle and installing the rear suspension pieces. I think I will also perform the heater hose mod to level the car out until I lower it fully.

Awesome man. Can't wait to see the brake work. I actually have to get my butt under mine and adjust the emergency / parking brake. It doesn't do anything since I got it. LOL

Did you like the quality of the Founders Performance tower brace? I'm considering them for their panhard bars, rear lower control arms and such. They seem to be priced really nice, but I'm hoping the quality is worth it. All the reviews I've seen have said so, but I don't know if that is bunk or not.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Nothing super fancy, just drilled/slotted rotors, good quality pads and powdercoated stock replacement calipers. Mine has never worked either and it makes me nervous, especially with the steepness of my driveway...

I love their stuff, I had their rear lower arms, adj panhard bar and lowers on my last car. I actually purchased the single adjustable kit for this car in addition to the STB. I will be installin those in the next week or so to complete the rear suspension.

Just a heads up I bought a founders panhard bar and the factory bolts wouldn't fit the new bar. Something to keep in mind.

I tore the rear axle down lastnight, prepped and painted the drivers side of the axle. I couldnt wait to install the new brakes, so I threw the drivers side on. I think the outer pad is a little too tight, so Ill probably take it back apart and sand off some of the powder coat on the bracket.

Threw the tire on to see how it all looks, not too bad for stock wheels and 245's.

I pulled the gas tank heat shield for cleaning/reconditioning. It is/was pretty mangled up, I straightened it out as much as I could, should be ok I hope. Then I washed it off, scrubbed it down with SOS pads, used the wire wheel, applied sound deading material on the back side and then spray bedliner to seal it all up.

Next up was installing the rear suspension pieces, so I grabbed the lower control arms and panhard bar. Nathan C was correct, the lower bolt (heim joint end) would not accept the factory bolt, I had to dig one out of my bin for the install.

After that I started working on the cat back exhaust, working from the front to the rear.
