It's at $140K! These cars are going up in value fast. And BTW: No Z28's were made by the factory with the X-ram setup. It was over the counter or dealer install only. Also, only 201 vehicles were ordered with the JL8 4-wheel disk brake setup, although it too could be ordered over the counter or dealer installed upon purchase. I'd like to see the Broadcast Sheet for this car if it's available.

I don't really like that blue. Plus the thick white stripes, eh. But whatever, it's a Z28!!!
One question comes to mind, why did Chevy make Z28s when they were already making SSs?

The Z/28 was created to allow the car to participate in the Trans-Am series with the 305 cubic inch limit. 500 car minimum was needed, and first year 602 were produced, but without any Z/28 badging at all. Only the hood and deck stripes gave notice of a true Z/28.

In 1969 all SS models came with disc brakes as standard equipment. Also the M22 4-speed was not mandatory in a Z/28. A 4-speed transmission was mandatory for the Z/28, but in 1969 the buyer could option either the M20, M21 or M22 transmission.
