I currently have 1.5 drop springs on my Camaro, most people say that I would need re valved bilsteins, while others do not.
I'm kind of on a budget, would like to order some brand new bilteins but the re valves are pretty expensive..
Any advice, is it a smooth ride w/o the re valve?

It means changing the the valve inside of the shock. You modify the valve to change the compression attributes of the shock, bound/rebound.
