What times did you end up running on the autocross and drag strip at LSFest? I don't think I saw your name when I glanced at the results and I'm hoping you didn't DNF.
I've had the same thought recently. It seems there haven't been as many comprehensive build threads here in recent days as there have been in past years.
damn thats awesome. wish there was a build thread on it, this section has gone stale.
I'm hoping it's at least partly due to it being winter, that's a decent part of what's stopping my project and I'm surely not alone in that.
Regardless, this geo is pretty sweet.

It's not just here. I think a fair portion of it is because of the whole Photoshop debacle. A lot of build threads I've seen start with guys who aren't real internet literate, that finally figured out how to use Photobucket, and now they're annoyed because their build thread is ruined.
I switched to Flickr, and so far it works fine (except, for some reason it double posts my pics on here.)
I'm honestly not posting this to offend anyone, OK?
I have to confess that I just don't see the appeal in this. Anything made by Geo is (by definition) made for the "bottom-dollar"/budget market. Thus, any Geo is going to have crap brakes, crap suspension, etc. (The upgraded brakes that I saw are definitely a good move. ) If you're just looking for silly, ridiculous, donut-making goofiness, OK, by that measure it could probably offer a fair bit of fun. But I don't see it being really good at much else.
Again, this isn't meant to disparage or offend, I'm just kind of puzzled at it, & wondering if there's something that I'm not seeing...
I love this build.
We definitely need some kind of break down of what's been modified.
Those brakes and fenders are killer. Need more videos of this bad boy in action.

That thing is total madd max. The flat black nails it. I'll bet that thing rides like a roller coaster
Geo's are excellent cars. Had a prism that only needed an alternator in the 10 years we owned it. Dated a woman with a metro. That little 3 cylinder moved right along, surprisingly roomy, a super reliable car. Part were dirt cheap as well. Naw, the whole Geo thing was one of GM's best experiments ever.
Got a chance to play at the dragstrip . 1/8 mile . Stock stall converter. 7.01 1.60 60’ (with 18x12s on the front) @ 99.82mph . Not bad first time at the track with it . Ordering a converter for it . Should hit mid 6s pretty easy . Then I’ll turn it up a little . Only 11lbs now.
