When I was the stock rear with 3.73 gears and bolt-ons, there tune worked great. I even used it with my Head/Cam swap before the larger injectors. I have a dyno tune on it now from local sponser, but I was very happy with there tune and recomend them .

Ours works great in a 1986 BMW E30 with LS1 & T56. Absolutely no problems. A/C works, no VATS problems, OBD2 port works, Tach was re-programmed from 8-cyl output to 6-cyl for the BMW tach. The car started right up, and passed emissions testing, putting out about 1/10 of the allowables. We run dual mini-cats, have downstream O2 sensors deleted and have the Fbody EVAP can and valving. Good turn-around, would use them again.

I had no issues with mine. It's throwing an evap code, but I forgot to tell him to delete it.

No problems, started up on the 1st turn of the key..!

Changed to a LS6 Intake and a PnP throttle body, then added Edelbrock Headers and only a little raise in idle RPM after all of the bolt on's, but that is ok, I can live it it.... I am pertty sure I just need a tune, as I think it is missing a bit on the WOT at the end of a 1/4 mile run.

But have no problem as is with all of the Bolt on mod after the mail order tune.

Mine is great, perfectly driveable even on cold start and all that, idle could stand to be a bit higher and power is lower than I want but that's to be expected from a mail order tune I would think

my cam, headers, cutout, ported tb car only made 325hp/339tq

but it feels great on the street and for $60 I have no right to complain at all (sold my stock pcm for $100)

for getting a car running or daily driver, its as perfect as you can get, but if you want power like me a dyno tune will still be in your future

My '05 truck's PCM crapped out and it was completely dead. He sent me a reprogrammed PCM and the truck fired right up. It performs better now and gets better gas mileage to boot.

I have not started my car yet with his reprogram but I can say that the PCM communicates with the scanner and reads MAP, Temp and TPS inputs, I had him VIN flash and stand alone tune. Shipping was ridiculously fast, like 5 days from NM to IN and back.

I voted bad. But it wasnt that bad, kindof. Definitely not good. Seemed to run ok and had no Check Engine Light. When I got my dyno tune it turns out that pretty much nothing would have turned on a CEL because everything was disabled. Like I said it seemed to run pretty good, but nothing compared to the way it ran after it got a full dyno tune. And now if something goes wrong like an o2 craps out or any other sensor starts acting up, it will turn on the CEL and give me a heads up. Just my .02

Hopefully they didn't really do that. I've seen some scary things from "tuners" over the years, but luckilly haven't come across this first hand. I have heard about it though.. And as you stated, nothing compares to a real tune. I don't personally believe in canned/mailorder tunes myself for various reasons.

for what you want it will be great, basically the reason I ordered from him...it was going to be $50 anywhere else to make my car run, he made it run with the cam safely enough I can drive it and beat on it until I can afford a real tune

For the price and what he wants done, I'd have to agree. But I really just wanted to reply and say you have one badass car there in your sig More pics? I'm too tired to search after working on the house today...

Comparing a mail order tune to a dyno tune is like comparing apples to hammers, there's no comparison. That being said, I've got ~7000 miles on my wait4me tune, works great! The turn around time was stupid fast, I sent it out on a monday, it was back on my porch on friday afternoon! The check couldn't have even clearedby then! I'd recommend them to anybody.
