Thanx guys. Looking back it is amazing how much I have done with this car over the last few years. What a great hobby eh?

There was a bad to the bone Chevy II like the one in your avatar in the True Street cruise this weekend. I did not see it run, but I am sure it was at least a 9 seconds beast.

Looks like NMCA and Dragzine published both article/interviews from the race on their websites. If you click on the images below, it will take you to the the webpages where they are published. Both interview/articles are about mid-page:

Nah I have been busy around the house, welcomed our son home from basic training, etc. etc. Going this week to get the slicks mounted. I am going to give the 3.42's a try and will more than likely step up to 4.10's depending on traction issues.

What is it like to be a world renowned drag racer like yourself?

Good news! There is no line at the present moment. When is your next break in work where you might get out to the track? Do you have a date circled?

Just going to play it by ear. The boating season is about over and my free time is growing by the minute. Hopefully the weather will work with me and my initial runs will be soon. Probably wont be as successful as yours but at least it will give me a starting point.
