That is interesting. I take it you are replacing the front sway bar with the one shown in the picture. Looking into replacing my front swaybar. I was thinking a 1.25" tubular unit.

No, it is a rear anti-roll bar. Here is an install pick (not my car)

I got faked out by the mounts to the axle. I thought they were the frame mounts for the front. My 1" rear sway bar does not mount to the axle. I may have to change that. You are getting a lot of air under the left front tire.

Yeah, I have a 1" sway bar that bolts to the lower control arms now. It does fine until the nitrous is involved.

Hmmmm, maybe mine will be alright. I will just have to wait and see what it does at the track.

What was the old stall and what will the new stall be?

The old stall is a Cirlce D 245 MM 2B. It would flash to about 2800 or so on the motor. I told Chris to give me as much converter as he could that would still take a 200 shot of nitrous. We will see what he comes up with.

Here is a chart of Moog's front coil springs that may be handy from other guys doing A-Body LS swaps.

Thanks for posting the chart. I am running the 6 cylinder spring that came with the car MOOG-6204. Seems to be doing just fine with my setup.

You know, I was really considering the 6204 units initially myself. I was afraid the 5230 units would sit too low, but they are perfect.

Yesterday I also ordered some Viking Performance double adjustable front shocks. I am anxious to try those out.

I was just thinking that as seeing I have the two door post model it might help some with the body twist. Guess I will just have to wait and see.

What is the latest on your exhaust system? Is it still the same? I think you had 1 3/4" headers to a 3" collector. Then necked down to 2 1/2" dual exhaust. Is that correct?

It went 2 tenths faster with the new converter. From 11.27 @ 120 to 11.07 @ 120. Knocking on 10s on the motor now.

The new converter definitely runs hard, but there is some sacrifice to drivability though. Especially in a car like mine that does not have a computer controlled lock up in the lower gears.

1 3/4 into 3" collecter. 3" duals with Pypes stainless X-pipe and T/A Performance 3" tailpipes with the extensions to the rear bumper. The extensions reduced the resonance inside the car notably.

Thanx Steve. I was sick yesterday and Sunday too. But, I did not feel like posting.

Here is a slow motion nitrous launch:

And, at full speed 10.25 pass:

"The extensions reduced the resonance inside the car notably." Thanks, I will do the same.

"Knocking on 10s on the motor now." That will be my goal as well.

L92 with TSP VVT3 camshaft. LS3 intake manifold and LS3 throttle body. 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" headers with a 3" merge collector. 3" Pypes x-pipe and TA 3" exhaust. Ported heads and throttle body. 6L80 transmission with a Yank SS3200 converter. 3.23 gears with Eaton positraction. The 6L80 has something like a 4.05:1 first gear.

Before I forget what extensions did you use?
