LS1/T56 Fox Coupe Build Thread**Update with vid**
Well, I did my research and have since bought a roller and start piecing it together already. Thanks to this site and a couple others(mostly this one) I have gained a ton of info and have created a 30 link long favorite folder haha.
Thought I would do a little build thread for my budget cammed ls1/t56 coupe. The budget is $10,000 or less and for the time being it should come in under that.
Here is the link to my info thread before I started the build for those who may want a little backround as well as a decent amount of info on the swap.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...lsx-notch.html
On to the build:
1993 Mustang Coupe 4cyl car that now has the following-
8.8 Rear with drum brakes and 4.10s
Weld 4 Lug Draglites w/MT E.T. Streets 28in
Competition Engineering Adjustable drag shocks
Hotchkis Upper and Lower control arms
Driveshaft safety loop
AJE K-member with LS1 mounts
AJE T56 Trans crossmember
Aftermarket radiator(unknown brand) and Flex-a-lite Fan
BBK Subframe connectors
Walboro 255 in tank pump
Trickflow girdle
UPDATE:
Spent more time working on it then updating this thread so I apologize. I fired it up yesterday for the first time and am finishing the wiring and odds and ends. Here is a startup vid.

Here are a few pictures of the build, sorry i couldn't take a bunch of pictures during the kmember swap and such but I am pretty determined once I start doing something to get it done.
List of things to do next:
- In the process of swapping the stock 5 speed pedal assembly for one out of an 88 Turbocoupe since the 87-88 turbocoupe used a hydraulic clutch assembly so the already have the provision to use the fbody master along with the bolt in pedal assembly.
- Mount the corvette FPR(WIX 33737) that I got from rockauto.com for $36 shipped
- Run the fuel lines to the tank and drivers side engine bay.
- Then it's time to put a motor and trans in the car before I get down to wiring and ordering a custom driveshaft.
I have sourced a 2002 LS1 with a T56 for a killer price and it comes with a Mcleod Twin Disk and Quicktime SFI bellhousing, and a Mcleod adjustable master. I will have to source coils and the front drive accessories however. Motor and trans have about 50k miles on them.
Already ordered a cam from EPS, after talking to Geoff Im going with the 234/246 112 cam and im hoping for about 415rwhp with stock 241s and an ls6 intake.
I will be going with a PSI Conversion standalone engine harness when the time comes.

It is a true calypso 4cylinder car and yes I believe it is all original paint. It spent the first 13 years in new mexico and then texas and then made its way up here so it is spotless underneath there is no rust on the car AT ALL.
Well what can i say, I love the notchbacks, and I love the LSX motors so its a perfect fit for me.
