Default pedal compatibiity

Along with my 2 injectors not pulsing, I am getting an accelerator pedal position system code (P1125). I have a 2006 Escalade LQ9 drive by wire. The pedal is from a 2006 Monte Carlo. I chose this because it is a smaller size. It has the same plug. I have a new TAC module for a 2006 Escalade & a new harness from TAC module to pedal from EFI connection.
I do not have any throttle response.
Does anyone know if the 06 Monte pedal is compatibe the an 06 truck setup?

Well...I think you need to use the truck pedal. I have seen threads where the monte pedal is used but they switched some wires. I spoke to someone who built my harness and he was adamant that I had to use the pedal that came with the computer/TAC.

I do not know if the TBSS pedal is the same as a truck or not...I bought the pedal for the TBSS and had to cut it down to match the size of my Monte pedal. I need to make a bracket to then mount it to the car. Not terribly difficult but it does take more to mount that the Monte pedal.

Best of luck!

Thanks,
Looks like I'm shopping for an Escalade Pedal.

Is the 06 LQ9 a Gen3 or 4? If I switch to a 06 Monte Carlo TAC module will that work?
I can't find a 06 escalde accelerator pedal to buy. I don't have a p/n for GM parts & mostly what comes up on google is just for the accelerator pedal position sensor.
Thanks for all the help Anticarb, w/ this as well as with the injector issues.

I bought an 02 escalade LQ9 pedal/sensor from the GM dealer for about $100. BTW 02-06 is GEN 3.

Does anyone know where I can find a 2006 Escalade accelerator pedel or accelerater pedal sensor? It may come all in one piece. I can find up to 2005 & 2007 & up. Was 2006 a bastard year?
Thanks

Rock Auto lists 02-06 non-adjustable pedals the same. $129 for pedal/sensor.
Or I've got a new 02 Escalade pedal/sensor (non adustable in my garage) if you want to try it.

Thanks Gary. That is a little pricey compared to other years. I will likely get it though. I am getting a accelerator pedal system code, and I want the exact year/model that is for my engine/computer. I have a Monte Carlo pedal that fits the plug, but it does not seem to be working.

Gary, have you seen that pedal any where else? Rock Auto sent me this:
Part #: 5S11464
Part Status: Back-ordered (Canceled - Please check back at a later date)

* There are no alternates available at this time and no ETA is available.

I don't think the the 02 pedal will work. I have an 04, but it is a 10 pin. I need a newer 6 pin.
