Another update:
Going to be sand blasting more parts tonight and fixing the welders trigger control to fix the firewall and the fuel line hole.

Merv, or anyone else that knows... What do I do about the power steering pump pulley? I heard through the grapevine one from a pontiac Montana van will work? Also on the alternator bracket there is the bolt hole down inside of the dip... I don't have anything to bolt into through it.

I use GM F-body.

Dont worry about that middle bolt, aslong as the outside ones are secure.

I've been super busy with work trying to make a little extra money to pay for my project. And weather won't cooperate with me. But I've got 5 more bags of sand to finish the engine bay and spray it blitz black. Then I get to start putting it back together to roll it around and start the bodywork process

You're ahead of me man, I'm on hold for main bearings (need a .001 looser bearing). Other than that I've got everything else except rockers and pushrods (sigh). So, when are looking to fire this thing up?

I feel your pain, I've been there before. As long as you don't throw any transmissions in your tub though, you're fine, lol.

Past experience I take it? I washed my head and valve train parts for my cummins in the tub... That went over real good with the wife.

Also no new tb, a site sponsor will match prices on just about anything I ask so I'm waiting on him to say whether he will honor it or not. Taxes didn't look too promising when i filed them tonight either... Basically my wife will get new tires on her new car and I get a concrete garage floor...

Not quite, but I built a 383 in the kitchen of my old apartment, rebuilt a few carbs on the dining room table, and put LCAs on in the parking lot at 2:30 AM (neighbors really liked this one) lol.

Tb is being drop shipped from professional products, tb gasket and bolts from beau at scoggin dickey, heads I'm still hoping will be done tomorrow, intake manifold is assembled ready to go, valve springs, head gaskets, and studs are waiting on the heads, tr6 plugs waiting, and my harness is being modded and will be shipped back next week. Engine bay is getting sand blasted some more Saturday weather permitting. Also have a vette regulator coming next week with the harness.
