First off you're going to need an LS1 k-member and LS1 mounts. I saw your other post... yes an LS1 k-member will bolt up to your frame.

Assuming you bought your 6.0 with a trans, and you want to use the truck trans you're going to need to convert it to a short tail if you want to use a stock v-8 car driveshaft.. just a thought.

The intake manifold for a truck is taller than the one for a car and I tried it and it def. doesn't come anywhere near fitting, so you're going to need an intake manifold for a car (ls1 or ls6 shouldn't matter.) Ok, you need a fuel rail to go with the manifold and your truck injectors will be too short so you need car injectors (again ls1 or ls6 will do fine). -Note: truck injectors and car injectors have a different plug.

You also need an ls1 f-body oil pan and pickup tube, the truck one might clear the k-member but it definently will NOT clear the ground. I wouldn't even try it.

When you get the ls1 intake manifold it's of course shorter so your truck water pump spout? won't clear the throttle body. The LS1 water pump pulley has more backspacing than the truck one so if you want to put LS1 accessories on your 6.0 (alternator, power steering) then now is a good time to get an ls1 main pulley. If you are planning on making brackets and putting your accessories where YOU want them you can put the truck pulley on the car water pump.

You can use your v6 gauges but you will need tuning software to change your tach output from 4 cyl to 6 cyl (LS motors use 4 cyl tach signal if you're confused) Speedo is the same 4k per mile signal that your v6 car used so that's not a problem.

As far as the wiring goes.. I used the truck harness for the motor but I do believe you can use an ls1 engine harness on your 6.0 and it SHOULD plug into your car but I'm not 100% sure. I'd check, double check and triple check it to be sure, and you're going to have to run wires to your MAF sensor regardless. Well, my car was a 3.4 and didn't have a MAF sensor but I don't know about the 3.8.

I also saw where someone said that you need to use an ls1 car air hose, maf and lid but I noticed the other day that the 98-02 core support is a lot different than the 93-97 so I don't think that's going to be too easy. I'd just put an elbow on it and put the MAF and a cone filter where your stock airbox was. Call it a homemade cold air intake.

I'm sure I forgot a few things, and I don't know everything so please correct me if I'm wrong about anything.

The Auto Crossmember will be within an inch if you use the LS1 K-member. I would look for a LT1 Cluster.
