Default Proud new father of a LS1 motor! And a HP ?

Well as the title says, Proud new owner of a LS1 motor. My buddy came up to me at our weekly poker game last night. And tell's me he knows where a 5.7 and 6.0 LS motor is located. I'm like, REALLY? So we went today to check them out. I was pretty sure I was not going to be able to afford the 6.0 motor. And I was correct, he was asking $3,500 for the hole thing(bottom dollar). He was originally asking $4,500 for it. The motor I bought he was originally asking $2,500 for it. But we manage to get him down to $1,700 for the motor, wiring harness, The computer, and every except for the power steering pump. Oh, the wiring harness will be up for sell here shortly. The car it came of was a 2000 camaro with factory 6 speed tranny. I would post some pic's but I won't receive the motor until next week. The motor is actually still in the car. But soon as get it I will post some pic's. Ok, after all that Jiber Jabber. Here is my simple question.............From the factory how much HP do the 2000 Camaro's make? I also want to put a trubo on this motor. So how much boost can one of these motor take before you have to beef up the bottom ends?

Congrats!
All LS1s (doesn't matter if it came from a 'vette, camaro or transam) make ~350hp at the flywheel and ~375ft.lbs of torque at the flywheel. The Camaro/TransAms were rated lower, but when you put them on the dyno they make the same power as the vettes...
As for everything else, read the stickies, there is a vast amount of information here:
