CV Products remote oil filter mount and Allstar cooler. I still may put the filter mount on the other side of the frame rail and I still have some work to do on the cooler bracket. Need to get the radiator in there too.

How was the quality of the oil pan any issues with the rails not being true around the oil holes and did the windage tray clear the bigger stroke? Thinking of getting one but heard some rumors!

Two weeks ago I went through the process of checking for pushrod length and settled on 7.970" and placed an order with Manton. With this PR length I was supposed to have .005-.010" preload of the .030" total travel in the lifter. This week I'm trying to get valvetrain situated. I soaked the lifters and rockers in oil and put them in the block, torqued the heads down, dropped pushrods in and bolted lifters down. I put the dial caliper on and I'm getting ~.010" preload on IN and ~.020 on EX. So Ed recommended shims under EX rocker stands to decrease EX preload.
If it weren't for Tim and Ed I would be going crazy!
Yes I know dial indicator is over valve. For some reason this is the only pic. I did check preload on PR side.
Oh yeah, over the weekend I checked PTV.

I dropped the engine in the car today to see how it was going to fit and look. Had a hell of a time lining up the motor mounts with the k member. I had to loosen the mounts from the block and move things around and finally got them in. I don't have a transmission hooked up so I was thinking the engine would want to tilt to the rear so I was careful when lowering the lift. When I let it down the suspension reacted to the weight of the engine but it didn't tilt to the rear.
Took a look under the car and found the front side of the oil pan sump was resting against the k member. Team Z k member and Moroso 21150 Fbody pan.

This has become a huge pain in the butt The engine is definitely sitting too high even after messing with the mounts and moving the engine back 1/4" and dropping it 1/4". I put the BH on and the transmission is about 1/2" from lining up even after beating the crap out of the tunnel. I also cut 3 unused ears off the trans that were interfering. I have modified the Team Z mounts and they are ugly so when I get the motor where I want it my buddy is going to duplicate what I have, except it will look better. Had considered putting 3/8" spacer btwn K and frame but don't want to loose ground clearance.
I'm sorry but this Team Z K member is way off from putting the engine where it needs to be. I know I'm doing a lot of custom but the basics are not being met. The engine is too high and too far forward PERIOD.
