The wagon craze is starting! Glad I got mine already haha. I see the ridetech boxes is that going on the wagon or a different project?

The ridetech stuff is going on the wagon. Full air ride. Got a good deal on the last parts I needed. Lower front strongarms and drop spindles. Lots to do! Looking forward to getting started.

I am guessing if I was going to do a cam swap, now would be the time to do it right? Any suggestions? This will be a daily driver that I can autocross from time to time. I did a bunch of research but cams seem to be all over the board. The motor only has 97K miles so I am not to concerned about having to pull the heads or at least I hope I dont need to. Just looking for a place to start to build up a little extra HP.

Very nice, I did a 66 Lemans wagon some years ago. Still wish I would have held on to it.
If the engine is out this is the time to do the cam.

I was looking at a Lunati Cam that is used with the following info but could not see anything about it on their website.
Duration 214/218
Valve lift .555/.551
LSA 117.5
Its for a z06 but it seems like it may work. Its in great shape. Just no part #.

So how is this coming? I did manage to find a '70 wagon and I'm doing a bunch of research. A couple of the things I'm trying to figure out:

1) Fuel tank options? No one makes an efi setup for these tanks, but guys are using elky or coupe/sedan tanks. I think the elky could be modified to used the side filler neck or you could do the license plate thing for the coupe/sedan. Then there is also the B body tanks that seem to be popular, but I'm having a hard time finding recent entries on that. I'm thinking I"m not using the right search terms.

2) Brake upgrades. I've seen a couple posts about putting in 10+ discs on all four corners, but I'm still trying to find more info, specifically the caliper brackets necessary.

3) Suspension upgrades: there seem to be some out there, but not sure what way to go.

4) Oil pan: I'm keeping the VVT in the L96 for now, but not sure what my oil pan options are as I understand it, the pan has provisions for the VVT.

Overall I think I want it to look mostly stock, so I"m going with the DD speedo converter and probably an Edge Insight CTS that plugs into the ODBII

The pan has nothing to do with the VVT.

The newer engines have provisions for DOD, thats probably what you were thinking, but most dont keep that anyway.

Yeah, I believe it's a pressure relief valve that is machined in somehow? I know a lot of people don't keep, but at this point I plan on keeping it stock.
