lm7 and lq4 cost

lm7 and lq4 cost I have seen all these stories of people picking up these engine with ECU for cheap, but it seems the prices have gone up around here. Can't find a lq4 for under $1,200 on a good day and a LM7 is going for $700 and above. Anyone else seeing this.

Still cheap around here.
I've bought 6 engines in the last 4 days. $1500 for all 6. One is an LQ9, and even scored a gen 4 aluminum 5.3.
Tore on of them down today, freshened it up, and it'll be in a Chevelle next weekend.

yeah, I am trying to find one for my 66 chevelle. I would think the market would be flooded around here with motors and lower the price since I am located next to Chicago, guess not.

well good places to look is small newspapers and freebee flyer magazines. Craigslist is good. I have bought 5.3 motor and tranny with everything for $500 but I pulled it. One on facebook claims to be rebuilt with rebuilt tranny I saw today 4.8 & 4L60E $1200

If you guys want to drive to Ohio I'll sell you an 06 LQ9 (Gen 4 rods and pistons in a Gen3) with Fresh ported 5.3 heads (11.1:1) for $1500 lol. I'll probably knock off some money if you're really going to make the drive.

Yeah, I'll throw in a harness and a 5.3 PCM.
Comes with complete intake and non-EGR exhaust manifolds.
At this point I just want it out of my garage. Its going to storage if nobody from craigslist picks it up this week.

Is this a good deal, an LQ4 that ran, has video of it(hopefully the actual engine), with 185K out of a 02 silverado. Also comes with a 4L80E trans that won't shift into reverse. Both trans and engine together for $1,500. Comes with all accessories, but doesn't look like it has a ECU with it.

Deals can be had, just got to look around. I bought my 2006 LQ4 for $800, complete with everything on it, without the wiring harness and PCM. Running and driving, watched it run, then pulled it out and paid the guy.
