There are enough of these around doing the job asked of them, to call them junk is wrong. If you are pumping more fuel than they are made for, get the right one. But for the job they are designed for, they do just fine. And they do go out on occasion, just like the higher-dollar ones do

I’m running a Walbro 255, so im guilty of asking more than it was made for. Just thought it’d last more than a few startups and a trip around the block lol.

I see the Ecklers one for $100, is there something that makes it so special? Or should I stick to AC Delco?

I love what you have done for your HDX gauges electrical power and how you have the power panel tucked away. I will try to do something similar on my 70 El Camino.

Thanks, here’s exactly what I have and where I got them from. It makes it really easy to add on electronics down the road.

I’m running 95 mustang gt rear disc brakes (9” rear). What feels odd about them? What size bore is your master cylinder? Mines 7/8”. Nice firm pedal.

Changed out wix filter and all is good there. Took it for a drive and the trans is in limp mode, I only have 2nd gear. I get home and read the codes....

Cut open the harness and didn’t find anything. There was some fluid in the connector, and pin holes, that I brake cleaned. I’m hoping that was causing pin connect issues. It was too late to start the car and find out.

Why would you say it's junk? Failure rate? GM put them on vette. Just want to know the reasoning.

Beautiful Chevelle btw. Love to have one of those cars down the road.

I've used the Corvette filter on multiple builds in combination with the Walbro 255 pump and never had a single issue. I also always use the AC Delco brand filters.

good stuff on here. I'm struggling with going old school LT1 or LSx in my 66 Buick Special build. Nice work on this a-body for sure!

He’s referring to the WIX brand I had on there. Mine lasted a handful of start ups and a trip around the block-literally lol.

Drove home from the exhaust shop, 10 miles. Actually got it hot enough for a fan to kick on so that’s one less thing to worry about. I’ve got Viking rear shocks coming tomorrow, throwing those on and getting tuned next Friday. I guess that’s it. It’s a weird feeling. Being “done”.

Thanks for the kind words and help everyone.

Just over 100 trouble free miles. Antenna shaved, Hood painted, heater block off painted, tuned by NicKey performance, quick latches installed and no issues since venting the tank correctly.
